Routers

Routers function at the third layer of the OSI network model, while switches and hubs operate at the second and first layers, respectively.

They utilize a versatile software platform known as Comware, which is a proprietary architecture featuring a distributed design. This platform delivers extensive functionality by integrating various capabilities such as IGP, BGP, MPLS, segment routing, quality of service, traffic engineering, multicast virtual private networks, VxLAN, and more.

Combined with an advanced fully distributed NP/multicore architecture, routers offer operators a high degree of flexibility and reliability, often referred to as «five nines.»

Switchboards

Switchboards are utilized to securely distribute electricity in commercial and industrial settings. They serve as part of the electrical distribution system, dividing a power supply into branch circuits while providing circuit breakers or fuses for each circuit within a single enclosure.
